Sustainable Technologies has been building turnkey environmental systems for 20 years. We’re electrical and general contractors, CA-licensed with HAZ classification. Our Field staff have completed HAZWOPER 40 hr training according to 29CFR 1926.65
Specialized Industrial Electrician
Alternative Energy Systems are our specialty, built around the innovative Varisun, a 3- phase power motor controller with DC power . We’ve installed many new electrical services both above and below ground. Sustech has experience with power distribution, electronic pumps, motors, vacuum blowers, transformers, and large solar system installation.
Design, Fabrication, and Installation of Electrical Control Panels
We specialize in the design and fabrication of electrical control panels. Our prices are more competitive than many industrial fabrication houses. Our capabilities include installation of remote telemetry systems for monitoring and controlling system operation. We’re trained electricians in Class 1, Div.2, and are experienced with intrinsically safe sensors.
Site Specific Feasibility Testing
We conduct vapor extraction, air sparging, dual extraction and groundwater pumping tests to determine which remedial approach suits the specific needs of your site. We provide the raw data to you or prepare a detailed summary complete with data interpretation, whichever you prefer.
Remediation System Design and Fabrication
We design and fabricate remediation systems to your specifications. We’ve built groundwater treatment systems, dual-phase extraction systems, air sparging units, soil vapor extraction with catalytic oxidizer units and sub-slab vapor intrusion mitigation systems to extract hydrocarbons or VOCs. Our personnel are experienced at installing remediation systems and interfacing electromechanical control systems to monitor and automatically control the operation of installed equipment. We build onsite, turn-key environmental systems.
System O&M/Quarterly Reporting
Sustech also provides system operation and maintenance (O&M) services at very competitive rates. We perform upkeep and maintenance and reporting of existing systems remotely using telemetry. We can prepare a monthly or quarterly monitoring report to summarize system operation and remediation progress.
Subsurface Excavations and General Engineering
Our trained operators have removed underground storage tanks (UST) and excavated and backfilled complicated contaminated sites. We’ve supervised tank excavations and line replacement, soil over-excavation and disposal, on-site soil aeration and soil management, including bio-remedial approaches.
Field Repairs
We excel at troubleshooting and repairing existing remediation systems that may be out of service due to neglect. We have the expertise to repair most electrical and mechanical problems for all types of systems to efficiently and quickly bring them online. We also provide major tune-ups and preventative maintenance for groundwater treatment systems and vapor intrusion mitigation. We provide complete documentation of all work performed and provide recommendations to increase system efficiency and run time.
