Space is paramount when deciding where to install a solar PV system in our community. Under the Re-Powering initiative, the U.S. EPA is encouraging the use of formerly contaminated land, such as landfills, brownfields and mine sites for development to better utilize open space and generate renewable energy, income, and jobs for the community.

We have developed a specialized non-penetrating ground mounted ballast which is perfect for landfills.

These systems are also ideal for rocky soil conditions, corrosive soils or high water table sites. This is a viable alternative to driven or screwed foundations. The SolWay GM2 requires the least amount of ballasts per MW and has the widest span per ballast while maximizing the number of solar panels. The brings the cost of installation down considerably.

In addition, we have developed solar pumping systems for leachate and soil vapor extraction that tie in seamlessly to the system.
